Get blue screen text on first disk write on the install of XP:

0x0000007b (0xf78d2524, 0xc00000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Got this error trying to install XP Home onto a hard disk in a Medion MD6910, tried two drives, tried cleaning the RAM, finally went into BIOS and disable ACPI, that sorted it by forcing compatibility mode, the install could then proceed ( using a Transcend 32GB solid state hard drive in the end)

Reset to use ACPI after the install has completed

Bios walk through: hold DEL down on boot,

Anyway I hope one of these options sorts it??? [contact me if this helped you ]
