AMUST Registry Cleaner 4.0 reported a single remaining problem
"The key CLSID\{1171A62F-05D2-11D1-83FC-00A0C9089C5A}\InprocServer32
refers to a missing file C:\\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash6.ocx"
It failed to auto correct this issue (access denied), I have seen this
problem on FOUR computers now - 2 laptops and two desktops - all XP SP2++
SOLUTION ONE ( WHEN SOLUTION TWO FAILED - JULY 2009)::
SIMPLY copied a similar . OCX file in the directory and renamed it Flash6.ocx
The registry editor then quite happily did what it needed to do ....
removed/modifed the registry entry for the file !!!!
SOLUTION TWO (EARLIER):
So I located the nearest file:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash9f.ocx (After seeing
Flash6.ocx was missing from this directory)
A similar file being present suggested a simple mis-setting of this
value by "the system" as I had already installed install_flash_player.exe
from the Adobe website to get the latest flash player on the system
Edited the key value in the registry from Flash6.ocx
to Flash9f.ocx (DON'T MEDDLE with the Registry if you are not happy
and competent to do so)

Reran Registry Cleaner ................ PROBLEM SOLVED ( At least in
my case)
