Get error "no driver supported in this driver package" when installing medion online provided sound driver for Medion E1210 (MSN 30008320)

Repeatedly got this error trying to install the sound driver for my notepad (files from the Medion download page)

The answer?: download the realtek HIGH DEFINITION driver codecs direct from the Realtek site here:

http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/
